K's Birthday Party

Ponies, horses, unicorns, pegasuses...this girl is obsessed. It was no surprise when she asked for a unicorn party. When she turned 4 she asked for a pony party. When she turned 5 she asked for another pony party. Now for her 6th birthday party she's branched out a little asked for a unicorn party. Oh, I wonder what she'll ask for for her 7th birthday.

K was so funny about her birthday party. She had all kinds of ideas for the entire party. For weeks she kept making lists of who she'd invite. She planned all sorts of games. Unfortunately, most of the games were board games or card games she made up and couldn't really be played with so many kids at a party. Just like J's party, K's party was on a Saturday with multiple soccer games. We didn't really have a choice. In 5 days we're having a baby! We set up everything the night before and got home from soccer games with minutes to spare. K's friends arrived.

They ran around and played for a bit. We started games. First up...eating doughnuts off of a string. Sadly, no pictures. Mom and Dad's hands were both needed for this game. Next game...pin the horn on the unicorn.

K went first. She nearly put the horn in the exact same spot as it was on the picture. Claps. Yay, good job. The rest of the kids...not so much. Come to find out, our little birthday girl was cheating. She could past her blindfold. Sneaky.

The pony pinata was next.

Kids always love pinatas and the fun stuff inside them.
Presents. Her favorite part.
Cake and icecream. The bakery I went to to order K's cake didn't have a unicorn cake, so they said to print out picture from online then bring it in and they could put that picture on the cake. K picked out the picture she wanted and loved her cake. Pretty cool.

After all the fun, this was definitely a happy 6 year old!

Happy Birthday, Sweets!
