Soccer Season Ends

The kids' soccer season has ended. Perfect timing. It's getting really warm. I'm having a baby soon.
These two are the best of friends.

They loved having soccer practice together. When they did team running/racing warm ups they'd only race each other. D always wins. J tries to trip him sometimes so he can win. It didn't work. They are always laughing together. They loved playing in games together. Whenever they were on the field together they were always near each other.

J was so excited to get a trophy and he knew exactly what he wanted to do with it - put it on his dresser.
Such a fun season being a part of the Orange Crush team!

K was on the Ninjas and they had their celebration at a park.
And it was a yummy celebration!
They got to play, have pizza, eat cupcakes, and get their trophies.
 The Ninjas.
One last time...Go Ninjas!
K really liked soccer. After the first game she told me she likes it better than gymnastics "because it's more free-er. Like you don't have to wait your turn. You just run around and do what you want." And that's exactly what she did.  K doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body. I'd even tell her to go out there and be mean hoping that would bring out a little fight in her. She just smiled at me and giggled. She's a great little runner, though. She would just keep running toward the ball and all over the field the whole game.
It was a successful soccer season, if you ask me!
