June

That smile is coming.
Eye check up. She's a pro. Increasing the prescription.

Happy Father's Day. This man can do it all. Seriously.
Just a little make over for big sister. At Sephora.
Officially chucky. She's my biggest baby yet. 89 percentile.
First icecreams from an icecream truck. So fun and magical when your little.
It's been a pretty good month. C's temperment is evening out a bit during the day when she's awake. K and J play so well together. W's work is staying busy. We enjoy our big and small blessings everyday.

Summer Soccer

At the last minute I signed up J for summer soccer. He wanted to do it and I needed an activity for him - to keep him busy and wear him out. We signed up with some of the same people he play spring soccer with, but the team did not have a coach. Four days before the 1st game W was roped into being the coach. W didn't play organized soccer as a kid and he has never coached. He was a little nervous but then he figured they players are 4 year olds so it couldn't be too hard.

J says his favorite thing about soccer is that Daddy is his coach. W has really liked being the coach and says it actually a lot of fun. J is pretty good at soccer. It helps that he's tall for his age and he's at the older end of his age bracket (3/4 year olds). Uncle Ph was visiting the weekend of J's first games (they had a double header) and he told J that if he scored a goal Daddy would buy him a Slurpee. Well, the 5 of us all got Slurpees because J ended up scoring 5 goals between the 2 games.

Summer soccer in Texas isn't the brightest idea but we had a lot of fun!

More of May

This girl is wearing us out. These past few weeks have been so hard. She cries so much. W and I knew full well that the odds of us having another colicky baby were high. I swear it's genetic in some way. This time around I was mentally and emotionally more prepared for it. So while we do get frustrated we still manage to love her like crazy. I don't know how that happens but I'm glad it does. And through it all I'm so so glad we've been blessed with this little girl.
While we are just trying to survive, brother and sister just can't get enough of her. They love her so much and it makes me so happy.
This guy loves dress ups. This is newest and new favorite.

Little sister is growing. Some of her newborn outfits are about to be retired.
At beginning of May I realized that in just a few weeks I would have all 3 kids at home with me.  All day. Every day. I got nervous and immediately I knew I had to create a plan that would be fun for K & J but realistic for me. I came up with different activities for each day, so we could repeat it each week. This is our first library day.
We made it through May!

May

Lost another tooth. #2. She let Daddy pull it out. Then she said that she couldn't wait until the tooth fairy came because she gives more money to kids that let their daddies pull their teeth out. Kids don't forget anything. That's exactly what W told her that month so of course the tooth fairy was happy to oblige.
Oh, how I love blueberry picking. In Ohio there are a lot of pick your own blueberry places. You can get a ton of blueberries for pretty cheap. Here it's actually more expensive to pick your own than to go to Walmart to buy them. I don't mind because it's such a great activity. Every year we make blueberry pie with our blueberries. Warm blueberry pie with vanilla icecream...Mmmm!
The kids love looking at our family books and in one there is a picture of J as a little baby doing this. From looking at the book so much he thinks he remembers doing it and he wanted me to take a picture of him doing it again 4 years later. He makes me smile.
6 weeks. My beautiful babe.
Ready for church.
Do you think she gets enough attention?
Where C should sleep.

The only place she actually sleeps. In our arms.

End of School

School ended on the 17th for J and on the 25th for K. It's been a busy and fun time with field trips, parties, award ceremonies. I have loved both of their teachers this year. I have loved being a part of their school activities. I have loved getting to know other parents. Mostly, I have loved watching my kids grow - academically and socially.

K said that when she grows up she wants to be a veterinarian. She loves animals. Her allergies do not. I'm not about to crash her dreams yet. She's only just finished Kindergarten. I'm a little nicer than that.

Every child in the class got funny awards that were unique to each child. My friend was mortified that her boy got the Makes the Best Animal Sounds Even When Not Appropriate award. That makes me laugh so hard. As soon as she told me he got that I just knew what K's would be. I was right on. She got the Quiet as a Mouse award.
It's been such a great school year. I hope I always like my kids' teachers as much as I have this year.

Grandma & Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa are on their way back up to Canada for the summer. They planned the timing of their travels so they could be in Orem, UT for baby P's blessing.
Meeting C for the first time.

Grandma made several blankets for the kids. I knew she was making a special one for C and I couldn't wait to see it. I didn't know she multiple for C and then some for K and J. My kids love blankets and stuffed animals. It was very thoughtful of Grandma to make them blankets too. They've added them to their gazillion blankets and animals in their bed. They've also put them to good use building forts.
We'll miss G & G and can't wait until they travel back down for the winter!
